Who's Beadwindow Pty Ltd?

Beadwindow Pty Ltd (ABN 79 142 769 159) owns and operates Q-Route.

Beadwindow was established in 2009 to provide an independent warfighter's perspective to decisions made by the Department of Defence, and prime suppliers to Defence. It was all about making sure the naval warfighter was heard by those designing, buying, and maintaining combat systems for warships. We have been involved in some very cool stuff (and some mundane stuff, too, to be fair).

Then, children arrived and the family expanded; jetsetting to consult on cool things became frowned upon..

Subsequently, we were engaged for a multi-year role as the in-house (but working from home) Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager for an offshore and airborne surveying company. A new passion was discovered.

Enter Q-Route.

A Q-Route is a naval term for a safe path through a minefield at sea. Blindly navigating a ship through a minefield is only for those tired of living. Apparently, explosions in a minefield can be spectacular.

After lots of conversations with friends and business owners and managers, we had found our new constructive outlet. It became clear many businesses approach safety management with the same degree of luck as the ship's care-free navigator.

Just like a minefield, in business you know there's risks. That's why we have a little bomb-fuse bit in our logo, indicating lurking dangers. So why not chart a course to get you safely from one side to the other? Wearing blinkers like a racehorse is flat-out negligent.

Q-Route is not a service where one-size-fits-all. It simply can't be. Each business and undertaking is different. There are common elements and themes, yes; but your business is your business.
